Caralight has developed a photochemical system that uses ultraviolet (UV) light to destroy dioxin-furan compounds present in the air emissions from industrial sources. The Caralight photochemical system will help industrial operators maintain compliance with stringent regulatory emission limits established to protect community air quality.

The use of photochemistry to control air pollution is a broad, new market that has emerged due to the recent improvements in lamp efficiency, increased production of ultraviolet light systems to serve wastewater treatment markets, and increased regulatory and community pressures to reduce toxic air emissions - including dioxin-furans.

Caralight has teamed with an experienced engineering design/construction company, a major lamp supplier, and a well established equipment fabricator to provide commercial photochemical systems to industrial clients.
