The total number of major industrial sources in the U.S. and Canada emitting dioxin-furans exceeds 7,000. More than 1,600 major industrial sources operating more than 2,350 process units in the U.S. and Canada are currently subject to extremely stringent dioxin-furan emission limits. The ability of these facilities to comply with these emission limits is critical to continued operations.
